It’s February and with all the spring-like weather we’ve been experiencing, it has everyone thinking about spending time outdoors.
What better way to experience our great Colorado weather than to take your “business” outdoors with a team building adventure or a company picnic.
According to a recent article in the Denver Post, as the economy continues to improve, corporations are moving towards team building as a tool to engage their customers as well as improve communication amongst their management and employees.
Studies have found that taking employees out of their normal work environment (usually behind a computer) facilitates interaction amongst the staff that is often fun, light-hearted and on a completely different level than workplace interactions.
Some of the team building events we have seen here at Infinity Park have utilized both our indoor and outdoor event spaces – over 112,000 sq. ft. total – with companies providing breakfast or lunch in our ballroom and then shifting to the outdoors for some good ole’ fun and games. Everything from obstacle courses to relay races, taking in a rugby match and even scavenger hunts have made for a fun afternoon for the workforce.
Picnics are also known to be a fun affair at Infinity Park. Most companies choose to take over our award-winning rugby pitch for a day filled with activities, games, carnival-type attractions, family time, and of course, food and drink.
The nice thing about choosing Infinity Park for your next team building event or company picnic is that we do have so many options available. With event space accommodations for 40-4000 or more, indoor or outdoor options, and the flexibility to create whatever will work best for your company, you might even say the options are “infinite.” 🙂 (Sorry, couldn’t resist throwing that one in there!)
